Every Fondori order follows the same process — whether you choose a ready-made design or create your own coin from scratch. Here's what happens between clicking "Order" and the box arriving in your hands.
Step 01
Your design reaches a person, not just a printer
Before we print anything, we check every design: photo sharpness, framing, contrast against the metallic background. If something raises a question — say, a photo is too dark, or an important detail falls outside the disc — we write to you before production starts. No coin is made "on autopilot."
Step 02
UV printing in our own workshop
We print your design using high-resolution UV technology — directly onto the metal disc, in our own workshop. We never send this out to an external printer. This technique captures the full colour and detail of a photograph while keeping the durability you'd expect from a metal object. We say it plainly: this is printing, not hand engraving — and that's exactly why your photo looks like a photo on the coin, not an approximation of one.
Step 03
A second check after printing
After printing, every coin goes through a second inspection: we check it against the design, the quality of the print, and the condition of the disc. Only then does it move on to packaging.
Step 04
Packaging made for giving
Most of our coins are gifts — so we pack them in a way that lets you hand the box over straight from the parcel. Your shipment is insured for the entire journey to you.
