The Industrial Revolution

About this coin

An elaborate composition shows the bustling landscape of an industrial city – monumental chimneys, brick factories, steam engines and a harbour full of workers and boats. Dense buildings and clouds of smoke rising over the city create an image of an era of rapid industrial and technological growth.

Full-colour UV print brings out the wealth of detail of the illustration – from monumental factory structures and machines to small figures of workers and the busy waterfront. A style inspired by old engravings, combined with brick red and cool shades of blue, gives the image a historical character.

The Industrial Revolution is a coin inspired by an era of great technological and social change – a choice for lovers of history and technology and for collectors interested in events that shaped the modern world.
