Event Horizon

About this coin

A space composition shows a black hole surrounded by a glowing accretion disc. Curved bands of light, a dark centre and an endless field of stars depict one of the most fascinating and mysterious phenomena in the Universe.

Full-colour UV print emphasises the contrast of deep black and navy with intense shades of amber, copper and cool white. A subtle texture and precise transitions of light give the illustration depth and an elegant, science-inspired character.

Event Horizon is a coin for lovers of astronomy and the mysteries of space – a symbol of the unknown, the power of nature and the constant push beyond the limits of human knowledge.
